New Equipment

We have just purchased a new oxygen cage for large dogs as well as a new CARDELL® Veterinary Vital Signs Monitor for our small animal surgeries.

Oxygen Cages

Oxygen therapy

Each year we see a number of animals that require intensive care with oxygen therapy for breathing difficulties. Providing an oxygen rich environment can reduce the immediate respiratory distress as well as aid delivery of higher oxygen levels to the pet’s tissues.

We have recently purchased a new oxygen cage for large dogs to compliment our existing oxygen cage for cats and small dogs. Both cages are also useful for patients with asthma, bronchitis and pneumonia. In these cases medication can be delivered as a vapour which helps to improve the outcome.

Anaesthetic Monitoring

Anaesthetic monitoring

The aim of anaesthetic monitoring is to maintain an adequate and safe level of anaesthesia. The use of anaesthetic monitoring equipment complements the constant monitoring provided by our trained veterinary nurses.

We recently purchased a new CARDELL® Veterinary Vital Signs Monitor for our small animal surgeries. This unit allows us to monitor blood pressure and oxygen levels within the blood.
